Southern light square sugar cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pkg chocolate chips

Method
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Sift flour, salt, and baking powder and add alternately with milk.
- Add vanilla and chocolate chips.
- Bake in greased and floured 9x15 pan for 30 minutes at 350F.
- Cut into squares.
